Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Belarus in Minsk. Sergey was a player in the hockey league. Aryna Sabalenka's birthplace was Minsk Belarus, on 5 May 1998. Over the course of her career, she's been awarded 12 WTA singles titles, including an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. In addition, she's an outstanding doubles player. She has won two more Majors in this specialty the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both together with Elise Mertens. Also, she achieved the Sunshine Double in 2019, and won the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. The feat was made possible by four couples participating in women's doubles. In 2021 on the 23rd of August she climbed to the second spot in the singles world ranking her best ranking reached again in the month of January in 2023. The Belarusian rose into the top spot of the doubles ranking in the following year, after taking the title the doubles title in Melbourne. That made her the only Belarusian tennis player to be successful in tennis. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the season finished in 2019 and for a shorter duration in the year 2020. Dieter Kindlmann played a short time as her coach from the month of August to September. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman is her coach in the years since 2020. Serena Williams is her role model, then Maria Sharapova.
